Watching my kids learn, grow, and apply that knowledge in their own lives. My step daughter Zariah was diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, and ODD at age 5. She was very difficult to raise compared to my other 2 kids. But I refused to give up on her. Her biological dad hadn't been there for her and I felt like she deserved a good loving dad! My wife and I have worked extremely hard to help her build a solid foundation. Zariah has come SO far and she is turning into an amazing person who I'm very proud of!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Finding that perfect balance between discipline and love is the most important thing! My kids deserve to have a strong, loving, intelligent, healthy, sober, role model to look up to. We homeschool our kids and have them active in football, gymnastics, martial arts, soccer, horseback riding, acrylic painting, music, offroading, dirt bike riding, etc. We eat extremely healthy and the wife and I don't drink, smoke, vape, etc. Because my children deserve to know what a real man should look like.
How would you use the $25,000?
After years of renting in Lake Havasu City, due to the extreme increase in the cost of living there, we had to move an hour away from the town where we had built a life in so that we could afford to buy a home. We saved and worked our butts off to get here. The house we bought has a small backyard and the kids have always wanted a pool. So I designed one and had the plans engineered to build a pool myself in the backyard. With my savings, that $25k would be just about enough to get it done!
