The most rewarding part is watching five little humans become the people the were meant to be and finding the things they love to do. I love the little hilarious moments, reaching big milestones, having ridiculous conversations, and seeing pieces of their mom and I in them. All this while realizing they are becoming so much more than me. Being their dad means getting a front row seat to watching 5 lives being lived with joy, love, and kindness.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I know my kids are learning what love, courage, hardworking, kindness, and family look like through watching me. I what them to feel and know that they are deeply loved, but also fully capable. I want to be the person they run to when life hurts, the one who celebrates with them when life is good, and the one they trust when they need someone in their corner. I want them to grow up knowing I was there, always fighting for them, and always believed in them even when they struggled to.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to give my family something money usually can't buy; time and memories together. With five kids, everyday life can be a constant race between work, school, sports, activities, bills, and everything else. I'd use the money to take them on a family adventure, to create experiences they remember forever.
