The most rewarding part of being a dad is that I get to coach, teach, and guide my sons in ways that I wish I would have been growing up. The best part is seeing them light up with love from encouragement and teaching them a new skill. Their sense of humor and artistic skill is something I am very proud of.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Growing up, both my parents worked full time and my father had a crazy swing shift schedule, so the TV and my sisters raised me. I strive to be a good, calming influence who always has their back and is always in their corner.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use some of the money for a trip with my family to make memories doing something incredible like visiting a foreign country. Possibly adding the extra bonus room/movie room above our playroom that I have made rough blue prints for. Maybe a sunken trampoline. Having a giant block party for our culdesac since we live on “grief street”… it’s a long story. Ha! Put some money into my son’s college accounts.
