The most rewarding part is watching my kids grow into their own people and knowing I’ve had a part in helping them get there. From the little everyday moments to the big milestones, being there for them is what matters most. There’s nothing better than seeing them happy, knowing they feel loved, supported, and safe, and hearing them say “Dad” when they need me. Those moments are worth more than anything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids deserve the very best version of me. I want them to know that no matter what life throws at them, Dad will always show up, listen, protect them, believe in them, and love them. I want to give them the kind of childhood they’ll look back on with a smile and, someday, be able to say, “My dad was always there for me.”
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to create memories with my kids that they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives, while also putting some toward their future. I’d love to take them on a special family trip, give them experiences they may not otherwise get, and use the rest to help make life a little more secure for our family. To me, the greatest gift wouldn’t be the money itself—it would be turning it into time, experiences, and opportunities with my kids.
