The happiness I can give to my kids and the happiness they give me is the most rewarding part about being a dad. It's the simple things like my son asking me for a hug or rubbing his back when he is about to go to bed. It's coaching my sons in wrestling and baseball and the smiles and hugs I get when they win a wrestling match or baseball game. It's the "I love you" for no reason but to just let me know they love me. It's the little things that are the most rewarding.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
There's no redo when it comes to you raising your kids. You only get one chance to be the best dad you can be. I would like to think I have been a good role model for my children. I hope when my children have kids of their own, they can look back at how I raised them and use what they learned from me with their children to be great dads themselves.
How would you use the $25,000?
In July of 2026, my family was blindsided when I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I would use part of the money to make sure my medical bills were paid. Once my treatments are over and I get better, I would take my wife and kids to Disney World and Universal Studios for a nice long vacation for all of us. My car is getting up there in miles so I would probably put a down payment on a car as well.
