The most rewarding part of being a dad is letting your kids be who they are and watch how they succeed with their own characters. I believe I am just here to guide them when needed and to keep them safe along their journey. I don't believe in parents telling their children what they think they should be doing or forcing them to be what a parent wants them to be. The reward will be seeing how they succeed going into adult life, I'm pro my 2 oldest earned free rides to 2 good schools on their own.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids didn't choose to be born and my wife and I wanted to create a big family we could be proud of. Family life for my wife and I growing up wasn't the greatest so we wanted to make our own family to raise. It hasn't always been easy, we've made plenty of mistakes, but we are humble and learn from our mistakes and teach children that as well. With the amount we are forced to work nowadays to survive, the little time we get with them is precious.
How would you use the $25,000?
Most likely to catch up on bills my wife and I are behind on. Pay off some credit cards possibly. Maybe take a trip because we haven't been able to take a actual vacation in over three years due to a lot of different situations. My house also needs some repairs that I haven't been able to afford material for, even though I am a jack of all trades and have hired really nobody to fix anything in my house.
