Hearing my kids yell from excitement, “Dad!” after a long work day. Watching my kids complete milestones after working with them and staying consistent. My kids also always involving me in their activities instead of wandering off and forget me. Most of all, just relaxing and enjoying the nice quietness and comfort of being with them, knowing they are safe with me after a week of my personal battle of loud noises from work and wondering what my kids are up to when I’m not around. I love my kids.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My kids were born very premature at 24 weeks. Doctors spoke to me and my wife about my kids low expectations of life. My kids fought hard for 3 long months in the NICU. I prayed to god about how bad I wanted these babies. So I promised myself that everyday I owe my kids the hard fight to provide my time and my love for them unconditionally. I also owe god the prayer he answered, that I will be the best father and I will live up to my words. I love my kids.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would first like to visit the NICU my babies were treated at, so I may treat the department to gift baskets as a “Thank You”. Secondly I would like to start my kids college fund. Last but not least, I would like to finally afford to take time off work and take my wife and kids out on a family vacation. We have Gone through many obstacles, a vacation would be a nice treat. I love my family.
