Like most dads, the most rewarding part is seeing the joy on my kids’ faces—the smiles, the excitement, knowing I can provide for them. Especially when I come home with a bag full of Ace Hardware products. Other dads bring home ice cream. My kids get excited when Dad pulls into the driveway with lumber, power tools, and another project they didn’t ask for.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because raising twin daughters means I have two sets of eyes watching me and twice the opportunity to embarrass them. I want to show them how a good man treats people, works hard, takes care of his family, and keeps his word. My goal is to set the bar high—especially for whoever shows up at my door to date them someday. He better show up knowing the Ace Hardware jingle.
How would you use the $25,000?
What would I do with $25,000? Easy—I’d keep it A-C-E. A: Adventure with my wife and twin daughters. C: College fund for the girls. E: Everything else? Well… I know a helpful place.
