Giving my children the tools to handle unfairness, while being nonjudgmental, and maintaining their integrity and values. Also, developing them to think independently to increase their accountability of actions while being simply good people to themselves, individually, and others.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I am empathetic to a fault. My life’s experiences only allow me to see others not go through negative things which I have gone through. In spite of all these seemingly insurmountable things, my children are the only motivation to protect them from a world I have much difficulty handling, while doing my best to ensure they experience as little of those difficulties since I can help navigate those spaces. This is what I give to my kids and what I give to my community in my professional spaces.
How would you use the $25,000?
Unfortunately, this was the hardest question. I’m simply glad to have stability and my wife and kids. I don’t have an intention for the $25,000 and would rather not use energy thinking of something that’s a “hope and dream” until I do for self.
