The most rewarding thing is getting to show up for them every day. Getting to show them that pain is important, that life is going to throw obstacles at you, but it's all about perspective. You're in control of how you face it. There's always a way through it. When they start to believe it for themselves, or when my oldest looks at me and believes I can do something hard that I didn't think I could do, that's everything. That's the whole reason.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I want to be the dad for them I needed growing up. To show them pain is important, obstacles are all about perspective, and you're in control. There's always a way through if you don't give up. Good enough isn't good enough, you do it right every time! My five kids are my reason and mean more to me than they'll ever know. I push hard because I want them to know nothing is unachievable, they control their own story, and they can have a huge impact on themselves and on other people.
How would you use the $25,000?
Its perfect timeing we're selling our house right now to buy a house with more room to grow our ninja course and hopefully business. So I'd put that $25,000 right back into my family. Into building a space where my kids and others in the community can train and build healthy fitness and life habits
