The look on my childrens face when they get what they need. And sometimes what they want. Or seeing them learn something new, that I helped teach them. When my son ate some ants. And made me eat them as well. Or teaching my daughter to box. When she was being bullied at school. Teaching my son and daughter how to use power tools. The day they were born changed my life forever. They are the light of my life. My heart and soul.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because, without my children to push me farther then I've ever gone. I feel like I wouldn't be where I am today. It's mutual that they inspire me. And somehow I inspire them. I hope one day they look back and realize how hard I've worked to give them the life they have.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would start by paying off my sons college loans. And then get me new farm equipment. Maybe treat the kids to a vacation or see some family and friends. Maybe fix my truck so it will make it through the winter. Maybe some farm animals. Or just all the above.
