Knowing that through all the hardship from being poor working 4 jobs same time. To getting laid off 3 days after 9/11 from American airlines to raising two kids after their mom my wife had a stroke. To working for Colorado Department of Transportation as a snow plow driver for 20 years.That i got them through all that. Now they are married and have families...i still care for my wife in Texas where I work for TXDOT. I would do it all over again for them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my own father left my mother with 4 kids to feed. She worked 35 years for Current.Inc. and was the greatest roll module I could have ever had. You have to step up and be there for them. No matter how tired...how poor you are...how the world has treated you...your family is your real job nothing else. I swore to myself that I would protect my family.
How would you use the $25,000?
My wife as a handicapped person...has needs to help her walk better. She has many issues from the stroke. Other than that spend most on my kids and grand children. If there is anything left maybe buy some art supply's I have painted as a way of dealing with caregiver stress. I am a simple man I don't need much but they do.
