The little things are probably the most rewarding. Hearing them laugh, having them shriek with excitement when I get home from work, watching them get excited about something new, or just having them climb up next to me to cuddle. I love that I get to be there for all of it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
They’re watching everything I do. I want my kids to grow up knowing they can come to me about anything, that I’ll listen to them, and that I’ll always show up for them. I’m not going to be a perfect dad, but I’ll always try to be the best that I can for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d take my family to Kauai. My wife and I honeymooned there when she was pregnant with our son, and Hawaii has always been a special place for us. We’ve always dreamed of taking our kids there and eventually moving there as a family. I’d use some of the money toward that trip and put the rest toward our future, with the goal of one day making Hawaii our home.
