I love seeing how excited my kids get when I walk through door after work. Love seeing my kids excel in group environments when they are so kind and helpful as 4 year olds. I love the goofy faces my kids now make because of me and they are usually spot and used in correct moments. My son cracks me up when we play “Go Fish” and when he gets a card he just yells “that’s what I’m talking about babbaay”. Watching our kids become little humans who are kind, brave, funny and loving is a true reward!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I was blessed to have a solid dad who coached me through kindergarten to high school. We had a lake house and on lake Winnie for a few years where he taught me to snorkel and swim. It’s those moments that have pushed me to be the best dad. I want my kids to trust me with anything, creating a safe space to talk as they get older. I want them to see what hard work is by, myself working 2 jobs trying to make ends meet and give them a life they will look back on and thank my wife and I.
How would you use the $25,000?
First I would use this money to help pay off some debts we accrued during our home renovation. I put a full dormer on the front of my house to make sure we all nice big bedrooms on the same floor. Second I would take some money and throw it into an account for the kids for when they get older and they need help. Lastly I’m not a dad without my beautiful smart wife, so I would definitely make sure to take her away for an extended weekend! Thank you for your consideration
