You spend years and years patiently teaching your children the right way to act and think and do and you just hope that it sinks in. And then one day when your kids dont know youre watching you see them help an old lady with bags or hold a door open or call you to come get them when they find themselves in a bad situation and you know the years have been worth it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
The older you get the more the reality of your mortality hits you. Most of us will not be remembered in history books as we have normal lives. But what i can do it leave the world a little better by knowing i have given them kids that are capable of supporting themselves and treating others well and i'll know i added something positive to the world.
How would you use the $25,000?
I know i can never give my wife her dream house, but maybe i could make our house a step or two closer for her. And with the remainder (if there is any) i would probably defray some of the costs of college for the oldest.
