The most rewarding part of being a dad is getting to watch my child discover the world for the first time. Every laugh, hug, milestone, and little “Dada” reminds me how lucky I am. Being a father has taught me patience, unconditional love, and that the simplest moments can mean the most. I get to help shape a little person while learning and growing alongside him.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my wife, Selina, and my son, Carson, gave me something I never want to take for granted: a reason to keep going. After my darkest moment, their love reminded me that my life has purpose. Every hug, laugh, and “Dad” from Carson is a reminder of how precious life is. I want to be the father he deserves, the husband Selina deserves, and the person they can always count on.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to give my family something we’ve never truly had: financial security. I would put a portion into savings so we finally have an emergency fund, and use the rest to renovate our basement into a bedroom. We currently only have two bedrooms, and creating another would give us the space to grow our family and hopefully welcome another child. It wouldn’t just be money it would be an investment in our family’s future.
