Most rewarding part of being a dad.... is seeing how my kids are just like me and my wife. We started a family of six, and seeing our traits mirror back in them is pure joy. Whether they are copying my wife's best qualities, inheriting my exact sense of humor, or showing off that spicy, growing attitude they definitely got from both of us, seeing them look and act like us is the ultimate reward. It proves that our legacy is full of love, laughter, and personality.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Raised tight by a single dad in Baltimore, I push daily to give my 6 kids the present, loving childhood I missed. My wife is my absolute everything; I sustain this circus for us. My days are non-stop: cooking 3 fresh meals, running endless laundry, homeschooling a 4yo, chasing a 2yo, and shuttling 4 kids to school, sports, and my kindergartener's special needs therapy. I strive to hold the line on screen-free Sundays because always bettering their lives is my mission.
How would you use the $25,000?
Moving from Baltimore to Florida in 2021 on pure luck was our best risk. This prize would bring our big crew true stability. First, it secures vital specialized services for my special needs daughter. Next, it wipes out our grocery/living credit card debt, giving my wife and me breathing room. Finally, the rest goes to a down payment for a reliable new/used minivan to handle our daily school and therapy shuttles, or a much-needed new roof. It completely lifts our financial stress.
