The joy on their face and the hug after a long day, they will never know how much they center my world. The chaos and noise of stressful work, creating on demand, and being a personality for my community, all fades to silence and happiness when I get home to them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I was raised in a divorced home. My Father was there every other weekend, but didn't show up much passed that. I knew I never wanted my children to feel what I felt and experienced. I wanted to make sure they knew Dad was there EVERY moment, happy, sad, scared, or nervous. They deserve every bit of my pride and attention. I'm not perfect, but I pray they at least feel that from me.
How would you use the $25,000?
Let me just say this: When I DIY, it's more of a "Destroy It Yourself", so I'd like to update my kitchen for my family with professionals. and create a better, cozier home for my kids and wife. We'll be on a family vacation with a little bit of it while I leave it up to the pros.
