What is Super Dad?
Learn MoreWhat's the most rewarding part about being a dad?
There are the obvious moments when they succeed, or when they achieve something. But for me the most rewarding is the little moments seeing them become young men. When they ask me for extra lunch food for school friends that don't have enough, when they hold the door open at the restaurant or entertain the baby in the other buggy as we walk through the grocery store. It's the best thing in my life and there is no aspect of being a Dad that isn't rewarding.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I have photos of me wearing a superman pendant as a reminder when I look in the mirror that regardless of my day, that's how he saw me. He still talks about it. When he asked me why I had it the answer I gave him was: There are no silver spoons or college funds in this family. What little I have to offer; knowledge, love, work ethic, respect, those I give in excess. In short I always want to be a better Dad because they deserve it, and to teach them how to be men they can be proud to be of.
How would you use the $25,000?
The money would go to starting a savings for them, paying off some bills, and getting the much needed materials/and tools I need to get some stuff done at the house.
