Seeing them succeed in something they struggle with. Happiness is easy to achieve, but finding the reward in pushing through life’s struggles is the main key to continent. Having a good perspective of what life will deal out and how to manage them is vital.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My parents did they best that they could. If I don’t continue to build upon their lessons, then I fail as a father. I know I will not be perfect for them, but I will be there for them in any way I can. I often tell my wife, “investing in the family will always bring a good return”.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would set aside the appropriate tax money and use the balance to purchase a gently used van for my wife. She takes our kids more often where they need to go. She is a safety officer at their school. From school to jiu jitsu. We are heavily invested in discipline and the best way to learn that is martial arts. Our children compete often and we drive often to competitions for them. Her van has 327,000 miles and could use a replacement sooner than later.
