I’m only five weeks into being a dad to a 5 week old, but I already know it’s the best job I’ll ever have. Looking into her eyes and hearing the little sounds she makes and her smiles while she sleeps makes it all worth the sleepless nights. Being her protector and watching her fall asleep on my chest is the best feeling
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I want to set the example for the kind of man my daughter deserves to have in her life. I want her to grow up seeing how a man should treat the people he loves, and that starts with the way I love, respect and support her mom, my wife. I want my daughter to go through life knowing that no matter what happens or how old she gets, her dad will always be there to make her feel safe, loved and supported. That’s a promise I intend to keep for the rest of my life.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to give my daughter the best start I possibly could. I’d put a good portion away for her future, whether that’s college or whatever dream she decides to chase one day. I’d also use some of it to create special memories together as a family. She may only be five weeks old now, but I already know how quickly these years are going to go, and being able to invest in both her future and our time together would mean everything to me.
