Being a dad to my two sons is incredibly rewarding, especially getting to watch their bond grow and guiding them as they find their own paths. But for me, fatherhood doesn't stop at my own front door. Stepping up to help other kids in our community—whether by coaching, mentoring, or just being a steady, supportive figure—adds a whole new layer of purpose to my life. I want my boys to see firsthand what it looks like to show up for people and lift others up.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My father fell short in all areas of my life. I don’t want to do that to my sons. I strive to teach them the lessons and help them through tough or sad times as well as the awesome times.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would put 5k in each of my son’s home savings accounts. Take a trip with my wife Christiana. And help my mom with her eye surgery. That is what I will do. However I want to buy a classic car, but the other stuff is more important.
