Watching your kids learn and grow. My son is 21 now, and I am so proud of the man he has become. My daughter is 8- and she filled a void in my life I never even knew was there. Family just means everything. Days can be long and difficult, and I am thankful that every night I get to go home to see my family and hangout with them. My son has become my best friend (next to my wife). I lost my father 13 years ago so that bond means the world to me. I want to teach him as much as I can while I’m here
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I owe a debit. Not monetary debit (which we all have), but a debit to everyone who helped shaped me into the dad I am today. From my father- the biggest influence and my true North, to every person along the way that helped me out when I needed it, showed me the proper path, or even tolerated my difficulties growing up- I owe them a debit of gratitude to help shape me into who I am today, and I will work forever helping my kids to pay it back and forward. It really means everything to me
How would you use the $25,000?
I would pay some bills first- but then love to take my family somewhere on vacation to spend a few days. I rarely get the chance to disconnect fully from work, and I would love to take some time just to get away and make some memories. I would also love to have my mom come with us and give her a break for everything she has done for me since I was a child till today. She has always looked out for me, and I would love to be able to pay for her to take a moment to relax and spend with all of us.
