Knowing that every example I set helps shape my children’s future is the most rewarding part of being a father. Hearing how respectful, caring, and loyal they are reminds me that the love and guidance I pour into them matter. I’m grateful they’re surrounded by love, but no one will ever love them quite like I do. It takes a village, and I pray that one day they’ll lead the next generation with that same love and purpose. They are all stars in my universe and mean the world to me.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I’ve always wanted to make the people in my life proud, but becoming a father changed everything. Now, my greatest goal is making my children proud. I want them to see me as their superhero, a safe place where they feel protected, supported, and loved mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And if life ever knocks them down, I want them to know Dad will always be there to help them find their way back to “okay.” Because if I’m not striving for greatness, how can I inspire them to.
How would you use the $25,000?
To be honest, I’d use the money toward a down payment on a home for our family. With seven kids, we currently pay a lot in rent just to have enough space, while also leasing two cars. I don’t dream of a bigger house just for the sake of having one—I dream of a place that’s truly ours. A garden, a patio with a fire pit, a play area for the little ones, and maybe even the dog I’ve always wanted. Most of all, I want to give my children memories, laughter, and a place called home. ❤️
