I think the most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my kids grow up and knowing I get to be a part of it all. Seeing their personalities develop, teaching them things, and watching them experience new things for the first time means more to me than anything. I love being the person they can count on and knowing that no matter how busy or tired I am, I’ll always make time for them. There’s nothing better than seeing my kids happy and knowing I had a part in that.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids deserve the best version of me. Everything I do (working hard, providing for my family, and making time) is because I want them to grow up knowing they are loved, supported, and important. I want to be someone they can always count on and someone they’re proud to call Dad. I know they’re watching me, so I try to lead by example, teach them to work hard, treat people right, and never give up. At the end of the day, being their dad is my #1 job.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would probably put the $25,000 toward adding onto our home. As our family grows, having more space for the kids and a place where we can all be together is something I’d really like to give them. I’d rather invest the money into our family and our home. Something we’ll all get to enjoy for years to come rather than spend it on something temporary. Being able to make our home a little bigger, more comfortable, and better suited for our family would mean a lot to me.
