The most rewarding part of being a dad to my two beautiful daughters is watching them grow into strong, kind, confident women. After 21 years of military service and missing moments I can never get back, I cherish every minute with them now. Seeing their smiles, sharing experiences, teaching them good morals, and knowing I’m helping shape the amazing people they’re becoming is the greatest gift of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my daughters are my greatest purpose and my biggest motivation. I’ve learned over the years as I’ve grown in to my role as “Dad” that time can be a thief, because of this I know how precious time truly is. I want to be present, make those core memories, teach them all the little nuggets of wisdom I’ve learned over the years, and give them the love, support, and guidance they deserve. I want them to always know how proud I am to be their dad.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won $25,000, I’d spend it creating memories with my amazing wife and two girls on one unforgettable family trip before they head off to college and begin their own lives. I’d use the money to experience new places, make memories, laugh together, and enjoy the time we have while they’re still home. Money can buy a lot of things, but I’d rather invest it in memories with my daughters that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.
