The most rewarding part about being a dad is seeing the hope and excitement in my sons' eyes as they're exploring the world around them. With every new experience, they look at me with their beautiful eyes and laugh; knowing that I am there on the journey with them. I see so much of myself in them; their laugh, their excitement. Eventually, I won't be able to be physically with them, but I'll know that they have each other.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad for them because it is what they deserve. They are pure and innocent. The World is a hard place, but I will be strong shelter for them to grow and develop. These boys will know that no matter what happens, their father will move Heaven and Earth for them. I recently finished my MBA and am already back in school completing some supporting courses towards a Doctorate program. They will know that we can always work towards being a better version of ourselves.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would start by maxing out contributions to individual 401Ks for them. By doing this every year I can assure that they have the best chances of creating an even better life for their future children. Remaining funds would go toward financing their first trip to Disney World on their 3rd birthday. Anything left over would be donated to my local Children's Hospital.
