The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching the children I’ve been blessed to steward grow into people who bring light wherever they go. Seeing the values, faith, kindness, and strength I’ve poured into them begin to shape who they are is priceless. Even on the hard days, we choose gratitude and keep moving forward together. Knowing I have a hand in shaping the people they’ll become is one of the greatest honors of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my children deserve a father who leads by example, loves without condition, and is present through every season of their lives. I know they are watching how I handle both victories and hardships. I want to be the kind of man they can look up to today and, one day, look back on and say, “My dad showed me what it means to love, lead, persevere, and always show up.”
How would you use the $25,000?
Winning $25,000 would be an opportunity to invest in the life we’re building for our children. I’d use it to continue growing our small family farm, creating a place where our kids can learn responsibility, hard work, faith, and the value of serving others. Getting supplies needed for son to continue his 4H goat shows. And daughter her supplies for her rabbits. More than anything, I’d want that money to create opportunities and memories for our family that will last far beyond the prize itself.
