The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my boys grow into their own funny, kind, completely different little people-and knowing I get to be their safe place through it all. After everything our family has carried, being able to protect them, make them laugh, help them feel brave, & remind them they’ll never face life alone is the greatest privilege of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know my boys are learning what kind of men to become by watching me. I want my actions to teach them patience, loyalty, compassion, resilience, & how to love their families well. Childhood goes by unbelievably fast, &I don’t want to miss the chance to give them the guidance, memories, & example they’ll carry into the men and fathers they may someday become.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to give my family more of what matters most to us: time together. I’d plan an unforgettable adventure where my boys could explore, learn, laugh, and make memories they’ll carry forever-while honoring the loved ones we wish were still here to share it. I’d save the rest for their futures, because the best use of any gift would be creating joy for them today while helping build security for tomorrow.
