Watching my boys grow into their own personalities and knowing I get to be there for it. The big moments are great, but honestly it’s the everyday stuff I love most—coaching them, teaching them, joking around, helping them through hard things, and watching them become kind, confident young men. Being their dad is the best job I’ll ever have.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I know they’re watching more than they’re listening. I want my boys to grow up knowing what it looks like to work hard, love your family, keep your word, help people and show up even when things are difficult. I won’t do everything perfectly, but I want them to always know that they were my priority and that I was there.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d take my boys on an unforgettable fishing trip, invest some back into Outsourced Athletics—the business I built so I could spend more time with my kids—and put the rest toward a truck big enough to fit all four boys and my coaching equipment at the same time. Nothing flashy, just more ways to make memories with them and keep building a life that lets me be the dad I want to be.
