Watching your kids grow and learn. Being able to impart, being able to share with them your mistakes and failures, hoping they won't make the same ones. Knowing that you will leave behind a legacy way after you are gone. Being a role model for them in ways they wouldn't have imagined. And most of all being a positive influence in their lives to let them know that they can accomplish anything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because you don't want your children to struggle the same way that you struggled. Because you know that was once a world dreams that was crushed for you, you can love them to understand that dreams are all possible for them. Knowing that the trees may have been the limit for you, but the sky is truly not the limit for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to take my family on vacation for lost times from being sick for 4 and a half years on dialysis not being able to go anywhere, because you are restricted. I would also use it to catch up on bills from being sick, being on dialysis and having the amputation of my toes.
