Seeing my son learn, grow, and develop into a young man and an amazing artist. His mom and I are both artist, and to see him incorporate everything we've taught him and take it to the next level is amazing. I would sit and watch cartoons and play games with him and then we would go and practice drawing all of the characters. I would give him pointers on things like anatomy and color theory. Now he's already created 2 video games and is going to Mass College of Art to study animation and design.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I've always wanted to show my son by being the living example of everything I believe. I wanted to show him that is ok to be unique and be yourself, to work hard reach your goals, to always be kind to others, and to never stop creating. My dream was to create characters for video games and I spent years sharpening my art skills. I eventually went on to land my dream job at Epic Games working on Fortnite, which is my son's favorite game. I was proud to show him that his dreams are achievable.
How would you use the $25,000?
He'll be starting College soon, so I would love to surprise my son with a brand new, state of the art computer loaded with all of the relevant programs and apps. I would also love to create a studio area for us. A dedicated art space full of various art supplies form acrylic paints and sketch books, to high end cameras and 3D printers. I would also surprise the family with a vacation of their choice because my son and wife both work extremely hard this past year and they've deserve it.
