The most rewarding part is watching Jasmin and Jade grow into their own individual personalities and seeing them accomplish things they once may not have believed were possible. Whether it is a major achievement or a small personal victory, knowing that I helped encourage them, support them and remind them of what they are capable of means everything to me. Watching them grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because Jasmin and Jade deserve the best of me. Becoming their father changed me and made me want to become a better man. I have not always gotten everything right, but I have always wanted them to know that their dad loves them, believes in them and will continue showing up for them. My goal is to give them the confidence, support and foundation they need to become everything God created them to be.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to continue investing in the gifts, interests and futures of Jasmin and Jade. Jasmin is a nationally ranked gymnast, and the cost of training, competitions and travel adds up quickly. Jade is taking tennis lessons and would also love the opportunity to learn horseback riding. The money would help me support both of their passions while also setting aside a portion to build a stronger foundation for their future education and other needs as they grow.
