Seeing the spark in my children’s eyes when they figure out something new. Coming home after a long day at work, walking in the door and the kids come running up to me like I’ve been gone forever and they just couldn’t wait to see me again. My kids coming in my room and sweetly waking me up every morning, it starts the day off sweeter. Going around the table every night at dinner and having the kids tell us about their favorite parts of the day and seeing regular situations through their eyes.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I grew up with a great dad. With I hero I got to live with everyday. I want my kids to feel the same feeling. I want my kids to know that not only does god have them, dad has their back too. I want to teach my kids to be decent humans and treat everyone the same. I want to leave this world knowing that I did everything in power to give my kids all the tools they would need for their toolbox of life. To know that I’m leaving the world with some awesome people that will only make it better.
How would you use the $25,000?
My wife is the foundation of our household and she goes all the time with no quit. She gives everything to everyone with not accepting anything in return. She has ideas for the house and I would love to make those projects a reality. I would also like to pay off her student loans so she does not have to worry about that every month. I love building, renovating, and making her dreams a reality. This money would give us the power to do that and to give her the space in her home she truly deserves.
