The most rewarding part of being a dad is helping my kids become the people they’re meant to be. I don’t know a man who doesn’t light up when he’s building something, and children are the ultimate project. You spend a lifetime refining, nurturing, and helping them grow into the best thing a man could ever create. It’s not always easy but seeing them discover their own strength is simply indescribable. Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Every choice I make today becomes part of the world my children inherit - the foundation they may never see but will stand on. People say they want to give their kids a better life than they had. That’s true, but it’s only half the story. Fatherhood is knowing that my silence, my absence, or my inaction today would leave cracks they’d have to carry. Our choices, both good and bad, have consequences; I refuse to let my kids carry the weight of anything I could have.
How would you use the $25,000?
We’d use the money toward a home where all our kids could have a room. A home gives kids a room, but your own room provides space to dream. For us, those walls aren’t just drywall; they’re a canvas, and I want my daughters to color their imagination. Right now they’re all in one room, but they need space to grow, to make mistakes, to discover. A home would be the first place they learn to dream out loud. And I'll be there, helping them along the way. To paint, to build, to become.
