The most rewarding part of being a dad is knowing that everything I do has a bigger purpose. Every long day, sacrifice, and decision is about building a better life for my son. I’m excited for the little moments—his smile, his laugh, and watching him grow into his own person. I want him to know that I worked hard to provide for him, but never so hard that I wasn’t there for him.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my son deserves a father like mine who shows up, works hard, and makes him feel loved and supported. I want to give him the stability and opportunities I can, while being present for the moments that matter most. I hope that one day, he looks back and knows that everything I did was to give him a great life and be the kind of dad he could always count on.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to invest in my family’s future. We just became homeowners, so I’d put a portion toward upgrading our home and create a financial cushion for my son’s future. I’d also use some to make memories with my family—because providing for my son isn’t just about giving him a secure future, but being present enough to enjoy the journey with him.
