My dad wasn't a great role model so I always said I wanted to do the opposite of him. Every year I've been taking my son to an NFL game with the people he cares about and my girls I've taken to WWE events where they've met celebrities and wrestlers that they've seen on YouTube and TV and have even seen themselves on Netflix a few times. My son got to meet his favorite players and although we've yet to see a winning game together (NY Jets), the experience is speechless. All the sacrifice pays off
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I've been a single dad, for the last 6 years, of three. Oldest (son) is in Indiana w/his mom (paying child support) youngest 2 (daughters both have same mom) with me. Youngest I fostered from birth and adopted 1.5 years later, then 2 months later their mom overdosed. I grew up in an abusive household & I want to give my kids a better life than I had. Giving my kids experiences that puts them in places they thought was only for people on TV is worth all the pain & agony I go through to get there.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would take $5000 and put it towards each child's future, $5000 towards a vacation to Puerto Rico with the 3 of us and my mom to visit family that haven't seen all 3 of my kids, and take the remaining $5000 to pay down my mortgage.
