The best part is knowing that someday they may forget the toys I bought them or the places we went, but I hope they never forget how deeply their dad loved them. That’s the reward I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I don’t want to be a perfect dad—I want to be a present one. I want my boys to know that no matter what happens in life, their dad will always show up, listen, protect them, encourage them, and love them unconditionally.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I were blessed with $25,000, I would use it to give my family something every parent wants: a little more security and a lot more opportunity. First, I would put a meaningful portion toward our family's financial stability—paying down debt and strengthening our emergency savings. That would give my wife and me more breathing room and allow us to focus less on making ends meet and more on being present with our boys. I would also set some aside for my children's future.
