What is Super Dad?
Learn MoreWhat's the most rewarding part about being a dad?
Teaching my kids the skills they need to be successful at whatever they pursue and watching them grow and evolve as a result. We do projects around the house, work on our cars, lift weights, train BJJ, cook, play guitar and make knives together. Watching them struggle through a process and finally succeed makes me extremely happy. These are mostly just hobbies but the ability to grind through adversity is much, much more than that.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I love my children! They deserve the best version of me that I can muster so I work hard to be that for them, as well as for my wife. My wife has a rare genetic neurodegenerative disease called DYT-PRKRA which inhibits her from being able to help with the family as much as she would like to so I also feel responsible to pick up in the areas where she is unable. It's a lot to shoulder but it must be done for the sake of the family.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to put a down payment on a house. We are currently renting and housing prices in our area have skyrocketed. $25K would be a huge help to our family.
