The most rewarding part of being a dad is knowing I get to help shape my daughter’s inner world. Before bed, I can pour love, confidence and peace into her mind. In the morning, I can help set the tone for her emotions and her day. I know these moments are becoming part of who she is and what she’ll carry for life. More than anything, I want her to always know what it feels like to be deeply loved, supported and guided by her father.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I grew up without my father, and I know what that absence can do to a child. I questioned my worth, whether I was truly loved, and how someone who loved me could leave. Those questions followed me for years. With my daughter, I want to give her what I needed growing up: presence, love, security and guidance. I want her to go through life never having to question whether her father loves her, believes in her, or will be there for her.
How would you use the $25,000?
> I would use the $25,000 to help build a financial foundation for my daughter’s future. I’d put it toward a properly structured cash-value life insurance policy designed to grow over time and create an asset she can potentially access later in life. For me, it’s bigger than money—it’s about changing our family’s financial story, breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
