The greatest reward is watching everything I pour into my children become part of who they are. Through jiu-jitsu, sports, gardening, building, creating and everyday life, I teach strength, self-control, compassion and courage while learning just as much from them. I’ve fought harder for my son’s rights than I ever have in a ring. More than anything, I want both my children to grow up knowing that no matter who they become, what life brings or what mistakes they make, Dad’s love is unconditional
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because one day my children won’t need me beside them every step, but they’ll carry what I taught them forever. I want them to be strong but kind, disciplined yet compassionate, fearless in being themselves, and willing to stand up for what’s right. I’m not perfect, but I’ll always show up, listen, learn and fight for them. More than a business, money or anything I could leave behind, my legacy is raising two amazing humans who know they are ALWAYS loved, protected and never alone.
How would you use the $25,000?
The $25,000 would be a chance to get my family back on our feet. Fighting for my son’s rights through his due process case has required enormous time, energy and resources, and the financial impact has put our family in a hole we’re working hard to climb out of. I’d catch up on bills, secure my daughter’s daycare, and restore some stability we’ve lost along the way. Nearly every dollar would go toward my babies and our home. I don’t need much. Just enough to stay afloat and keep fighting
