Watching my children grow into amazing people and knowing that my love, guidance, and presence helped shape who they are. Knowing I can make a lasting difference in not only my children’s lives, but every child who comes into our foster home, is the greatest reward.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I grew up without a father, so I know firsthand how important a father’s presence can be. I made a promise to myself that my children would always know what it feels like to have a dad who shows up, protects them, supports them, and loves them unconditionally. I strive to give my children—and every foster child who enters our home—the love and guidance I wished I had growing up
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to expand the mission my wife and I have already started. After welcoming more than 20 foster children into our home, we’ve seen firsthand how great the need is. The money would go toward a down payment on a larger home where we can safely welcome and care for even more children, giving them stability, love, and a place to feel at home.
