Watching my children grow is like reliving my childhood from a different perspective. The resemblance between my kids, my siblings, and me is incredible! My oldest son was my first blessing and helped me become the father I am today. Watching him grow was life-changing. Now he is serving our country in the U.S. Navy, and I couldn't be prouder. Being a father of four and watching each of them grow is the greatest blessing of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Growing up in a divorced family, I knew at a young age that I wanted a different future. My parents couldn't make it work together, but they both did the best they could to raise us apart. Their struggles gave me a clear focus on becoming a loving husband and father. Everything I do is for my family. I strive to always be there for my children as their protector, role model, and father figure.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would take my family on a well-deserved vacation to a location we all agree on—most likely Disneyland, haha! As a family, we make sacrifices and always do the best we can with what we have. We pull together, make memories, and appreciate what we have. This would give us the opportunity to take a special family vacation without worrying about the cost and create memories we would cherish forever.
