My father was busy for the vast majority of my childhood, and missed soooo many big events. I try to do the opposite. I go to ALL of her taekwondo classes. I go to tournaments. I go to her concerts. I read with her. Ride bikes with her. Ride around and sing Katseye songs with her. I try to be all of the things that I had wished my father would have had more time for. Every moment and every memory is the most rewarding part!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I get one shot at this. I want to teach good values and critical thinking to my daughter, but I don't need to mold her in my image. She needs to be prepared to spread her own wings. If I do my job correctly, she will soar!
How would you use the $25,000?
Oh my, in so many ways. We need a vehicle and foundation repairs in our home. This money would change our life! Some would for sure go my daughter's 529 college fund!
