When they become adults, they start to tell you parts of their childhood that changed them, helped them, or just fond memories. As the parent, we never know what they hold onto until it’s all over. Things we thought were small or no fun sometimes turn out to be the memories that meant the most to them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
They deserve it. The kids I have raised and am currently raising didn’t choose their situations. Their mother deserves a partner who supports her and loves her openly and they deserve to come from a happy stable home.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d take my family on a little vacation. Then use the rest to fix my wife’s car, repair some things that need it in our home, and buy my wife a nice ring.
