When I got home from work yesterday, I walked in our side door. Before I even saw my sons face, I saw his arms extended and running from around the corner to come give me a hug. The most rewarding part of being a dad is seeing my son and wife after a long/hard day at work, and feeling the love and care they have for me and I have for them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My parents worked so hard to give my brother, sister and I a better chance at life than what they had. Throughout so many trials and tribulations, successes and mistakes, they have always shown me unconditional love. I just want to make sure than my son grows up knowing how much his mom and I love him. Just like I did with my mom and dad.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to pay off our debt, start a college fund for my son, and kick-start my business. Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine, and will allow me the freedom to be at home with my son more. My parents were gone a lot at work, and while I appreciate their sacrifice, I want to spend as much time with my son as humanly possible.
