The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my daughter grow into her own person. Every stage of her life brings new interests, bigger questions, and a sense of humor that always makes me laugh. Seeing her confidence grow as she discovers who she is and what she's passionate about is an incredible experience. But nothing compares to her telling me, for what feels like the hundredth time, that I'm the "best dad ever" or that "this was the best day ever." I must be doing something right.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I know the example I set today will help shape the person she becomes tomorrow. I want her to grow up confident, resilient, compassionate, and willing to take on life's challenges, even when things don't go her way. That means leading by example, showing her how to navigate difficult situations, learn from mistakes, and never give up on herself. I won't always get everything right, but I want her to always know she has a dad who shows up, believes in her, and loves her unconditionally.
How would you use the $25,000?
I'd put $15,000 toward my daughter's college savings to help provide a strong foundation for her future and whatever dreams she chooses to pursue. The remaining $10,000 would go toward a nice trip together, exploring somewhere new, experiencing new things, and creating memories we'll cherish for years to come.
