Knowing that your child's needs are met and they aren't afraid of things they shouldn't be. Being able to kiss booboos and push them on the swing for an hour straight. Seeing smiles on all 3 of your children's faces when you lock eyes with them just because. It swells your heart 10 sizes in an instant. Those are the most rewarding things about being a father.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best father I can be so my children grow up knowing they are deeply loved. By modeling how a man honors others, especially in how I love, respect, and cherish their mother, I hope to show them a reflection of their Heavenly Father’s love. Raising them according to God’s Word will help shape them into loving, service-minded individuals who bring joy to everyone around them.
How would you use the $25,000?
First, I'd give to the church, then handle family obligations. Since my wife, kids, and I all love the beach, we'd set aside funds for a wonderful family beach vacation, plus put a good portion away for the kids' futures. Because my wife and I love giving, this would let us give more freely when opportunities present themselves. Given the ongoing cost of living, it’s crucial to make money grow rather than depreciate. Putting some toward long-term growth would be important too.
