Watching my daughters succeed in the things they love and them not being afraid to fail. I’ve always tried to teach them that each day is a new beginning and that they control their own destiny. They trust that I can guide them through just about every situation. The most rewarding part is almost every single night I get “love you dad, good night.”
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I’ve been through so many things that I don’t my daughters to have to go through. The world right now is hard and I just want them to have the tools it takes to become responsible, respectable and successful women. I will stop at NOTHING to help them navigate this life. They are the reason I wake up every morning ready to take on the day. Without them I might not be here right now. The war took a lot from me but it will not take away the love I have for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
Id put every last cent into our house. The roof, soffits, plumbing, heating, windows, insulation are in major need of repairs. I’ve almost always been able to give my daughters everything they need but a nice house that isn’t falling apart is not one of them. They deserve a better home than what we currently live in. If I received 25k you can’t count on every bit of it going into our home.
