Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
We get one chance to get it right, to set the conditions for your son or daughter to thrive and grow. My mission is to serve as that mentor and God Father to these kids who lost there fathers in combat. To give them a shoulder to lean on. I cherish the opportunity to have dad talks. To talk about growing up and our adventures and aspirations! To teach the hard lessons learned, that they didnt get to have with their father.
How would you use the $25,000?
$25,000, would be used set up a shop for them to learn wood working with the right tools and set them up with their own tools for the future. To teach them to square a door, fix things around the house. Likely take the kids on their own adventure. I have one who would like to scuba dive with whale sharks in Atlanta, hunt out west, the third wants to build wood shelves for her medical books for college. Simple and achievable goals with that budget.
